Growing up in San Francisco, it meant stepping into a Chinatown bakery after dim sum—warm trays behind the glass, soft buns wrapped in paper, and that gentle, sweet scent of red bean filling the air. It was never just a dessert. It was comfort. It was routine. It was family.

I created this Red Bean Bun candle to hold onto that feeling.
To recreate that quiet moment of warmth—something soft, familiar, and grounding.

It’s more than a scent. It’s a memory I didn’t want to lose.

And now, it’s something I get to share.

Lavender Rose.

One of my favorite parts about creating candles is being able to be creative and blend a multitude of my passions, one of them being music. Many candles in my collection have been inspired by lyrics, lines, stories, or memories. I enjoy imagining what a scent would smell like based on these inspirations. For this particular scent, it is inspired by one of my favorite artists, Kacey Musgraves, and her song 'Heaven Is...'.
